Bluellite and I had our craft day today.
First task was to visit the Kamuning market which has a great fabric area. I was able to find some very nice printed cotton and canvas, and the price was not bad at all! It wasn’t crowded and chaotic like Divisoria, either, so it was a very happy visit.
After a quick lunch at the Salcedo Market, it was time to get crafting!
Bluellite chose to make a tote bag, and I decided to try making lined pouches. Pouches are fairly easy, but I’ve never made lined ones. I completely failed in my first attempt, but the good thing is — by failing that, I was able to take it apart and finally understand how I was supposed to sew it.
And my next attempt (after dinner) was successful:
And then, I gave this tutorial a go:
The inside isn’t so good. I made a mistake somewhere along the way, so I’m sure I’ll be trying this again. =)
But, for now, good night!
